We have been serving the Tamil community in Metro Atlanta for over 22 years. Our humble service started in 2002 as a language enrichment program, then a part of Balvihar, managed by Chinmaya Mission of Alpharetta. It all started with two educators, Mrs. Sundari Kumar, our current Principal, and Mrs. Radhika Valmiki with a handful of students. Classes were conducted at South Forsyth Middle School, Cumming GA. With more volunteers and interested families, the school grew bigger to educate over 125 students. After the affiliation with the International Tamil Academy and following the standard curriculum, ATS got its accreditation from Georgia Accrediting Commission. In 2011, the school separated from Balvihar and moved to Piney Grove Middle School, Cumming GA. There was an exponential growth over the years and there were many milestone accomplishments including getting academic credit from county school systems. To accommodate more growth, in 2024, the school moved again to its current location at Denmark High School, Cumming GA and is governed by ATS Inc. an independent non-profit organization. With great leadership and committed volunteers, we are still growing further to serve the community better.
