ATS was started as a Chinmaya mission of Alpharetta’s Language enrichment program in 2002. Ms.Sundari Kumar and Ms.Radhika Valmiki coordinated with Balvihar and started the Tamil language class as one of Balvihar’s enrichment program at Kids R Kids in year 2002-2003. There were only 5 kids when they started this program. Ms.Narmadha Jegannathan and Thiru. Govind Kuppusamy joined this program little later and helped to enrich this program.
This program was using both Singapore and Tamil Nadu syllabus till 2008 academic year. In year 2009, we started following the syllabus of International Tamil Academy.
To Ensure that our Tamil language and Tamil culture pass on to successive generations,
ATS celebrates the following festivals.
