Greetings from the Tamil School!

We hope you all enjoyed the last day of the school year with the field day events last Sunday. Hope your children enjoyed the complimentary rides, pizza, ice cream ,lemonade, popcorn, cotton candy, track and field games. On behalf of ATS, I would like to thank all the volunteers, parents and students who helped tirelessly to execute the event. Special thanks to all ATS teen volunteers who did an quite impressive job.

Please find the details of the upcoming Graduation day/Award day. We would like to invite all the ATS students and parents to join us on this occasion and celebrate.

Graduation Day/Award day Details:

Date: Saturday, May 9, 2026
Time: 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM (seating starts at 1:45 pm)
Location: Piney Grove Middle School Gym, 8135 Majors Rd, Cumming, GA 30041

Program Details:

Chief Guest: Mr. Ramesh Babu Lakshmanan, Consulate General of India

Chief Guest: Rep. Carter Barrett, GA State Representative, 24th District

Special Guest: Dr. Melanie Dunn, World Language Content Specialist, Forsyth County District DLI & IB Coordinator

Graduation ceremony for the Class of 2026 (8th Graders).&nbs p;

Honoring ISDS (International Skills Diploma Seal) Award Recipients
Honoring Milestone Volunteers: Celebrating 5,10,15 of Remarkable Service
Honoring Our College-Bound Teen Volunteer

Dress code:

Men Volunteers: Business Casual (No shorts or jeans).
Women Volunteers: Preferably festive Indian attire.
Awardees & Students: Khakis or festive attire.
Class of 2026 Students: Instructions will be sent in a separate email.

Seating for Award Winners:
We’ve reserved a special seat for all awardees. Please arrive by 1:45 p.m. , and head directly to the gym with your child. Our volunteers will assist you with seating arrangeme nts.

All others:
-Please arrive at 1:45 p.m. and go to the gym directly with your child.
-Seating is open. You can sit anywhere in the bleachers. Come early for better seating.
-It is your responsibility to take care of your child and please keep them quiet. Please stay until the end of the program.

Parking:

Park at Shiloh Point Elementary Parking or Piney Grove Middle School parking.
