We hope you are getting ready for the upcoming Deepavali Celebration! Please take a few minutes to read this important note regarding early release and program details for Sunday, October 12, 2025.
IMPORTANT NOTE: To plan the Deepavali celebration logistics better, on October 12, both our regular classes and the Deepavali celebration will take place at Piney Grove Middle School (PGMS), 8135 Majors Rd, Cumming, GA 30041. There will be no classes at Denmark High School on this day.
Sunday, Oct 12 Schedule:
1) Class Hours: 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (Early Release) for KG, Accelerated Grade 1, Grade 1-8 at Piney Grove Middle school
2) Deepavali Celebration: 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at PGMS gym.
3) For Cultural Program Participants (PreK-1, PreK-2, KG, Grades 1 and 2): Please assemble directly at the PGMS Cafeteria as per the instruction given by ATS Cultural Team. These students do not need to attend classroom sessions, and all participants will receive full attendance for this day.
4) PreK-1 & PreK-2 – There will be no classroom session for these students. Those participating in the cultural program assemble directly at PGMS Cafeteria as per the instruction given by ATS cultural team.
5 ) For Non-Participants’ Parents (KG, Accelerated Grade 1, and Grades 1–8)
Class time will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (Early Release). Your child’s Class teacher will share PGMS classroom number details. Sweet boxes will be distributed in the classroom. Please pick up your child from their respective classroom at 10:30 am and take them to the PGMS Gym to enjoy the Deepavali celebration with the ATS family. Parents are responsible for supervising their children after class dismissal.
6) Dress Code: We encourage everyone to come in festive attire and celebrate Deepavali together.
