Overview

Students who achieve perfect attendance throughout the year will be honored at the end-of-year ceremony at Alpharetta Tamil School. 

Student Attendance Policy for Perfect Attendance:

All students with,

  1. 100% perfect attendance 
  2. Physically attending the classes at ITA on all 32 Sundays

are honored with a perfect attendance trophy at the end of the school year. Missing one or more classes for any reason will automatically disqualify you to receive the perfect attendance award.

Absence policy

  • ITA will not follow excused and unexcused absences any more.
  • Absence will be considered as absence irrespective of the reason.
  • Since ITA will not give out merit based/rank medals any more the impact is less compared to previous years.
  • Attendance will continue to carry 10% of final score. So it is important that the student attends all classes.
