Dear Parents,

This Sunday (May 3rd, 2020) will be the last class of this academic year and  we have the final exam on this day.  Please help your children to prepare for the exam.
We hope the exam review helps your children to get proficient to their respective grade level.

As we have informed you earlier, CTA Curriculum Team has created enrichment practice worksheets for all the classes.
Go to: Parent Access-  >  Child Resources Info –>  Select Syllabus in the drop down   under ‘Other Information’ ==> Click the book icon under ‘Details’.
Please make use of it.

Please check with your child’s class teacher for any questions regarding the model question paper/exam day schedule. Kindly make sure to login around 9:25 a.m. this Sunday so that your children will have enough time to get ready for the exam.

Thank you all,

ATS Update: Online classes for the rest of the academic year

on April 18th, 2020 | Filed under School News

Dear Parents,

As you all know already, Governor Kemp has announced that all the schools are closed until the end of academic year.  Therefore, our Tamil school is also closed until the end of this academic year.  However, our online learning continues until the final exam.  Thanks for your continued support in helping your children to learn via online.  Our sincere thanks to all our dedicated teachers for making adjustment for online teaching.   Additionally, our much-anticipated fun-filled field day event is also cancelled.

We have not forgotten our seniors.  We would make efforts to celebrate their achievement and preserve their memories when they walk out of our school.  However, with the present situation, it is unlikely to have the graduation event in May.  We are exploring ways and will consult the public-school system and will plan to have the graduation event later when it is safe and convenient for everyone.  We will keep you posted. Until then, please continue to encourage your child to participate the online class.  Please follow the CDC guidelines and stay safe.  We wish you all the very best.

Thanks

ATS update – Online class sessions on March 15th and March 22nd

on March 11th, 2020 | Filed under Message from Principal, School News

Dear Parents,

The current situation in Georgia is being continuously evaluated daily. After serious consideration, to avoid the possible community spread of Corona virus, ATS has made arrangements for student’s online learning for the next two Sundays March 15th and 22nd.
What does this mean?

  • ATS will be closed on March 15th and March 22nd. No need to bring your children to the PGMS site.
  • Even though your children don’t have to physically come to school they are required to attend an online session on these days.
  • Class teachers will communicate to you separately about the online learning session.
  • Please make sure your children attend the online class as per the class teacher’s instruction.

NOTE: This teaching session will be a virtual classroom session so online class participation is a must, which is accountable for attendance and other components of regular logbook marks like reading log, class participation etc., Missing the online session will be considered as an absence.

We encourage everyone to follow appropriate preventative measures, as recommended by the CDC: washing hands regularly; avoiding touching your eyes, nose, and mouth; covering coughs and sneezes with tissues and avoiding close contact with people who are sick.

Please stay safe and take care.
Thanks
